Reading my zombie book!

Sinds 26 september 2011 volg ik de masteropleiding Vergelijkende en Internationale Politiek en één van mijn keuzevakken is getiteld: "theorieën van de internationale betrekkingen". De eerste les werd ons zoals altijd mooi meegedeeld welk handboek en reader we zouden gebruiken, maar oh the horror, er hoorde ook nog aanvullende lectuur bij. Een dun boekje weliswaar, maar toch weer iets extra om ons door te worstelen. Een collectieve zucht (of dan toch in onze gedachten) ging door de aula. Maar surprise surprise, dit boek bleek helemaal niet zo saai, de titel alleen al roept vragen op.  "Theories of international politics and zombies" van Daniel W. Drezner zorgt voor een duidelijke en leuke toepassing van de verschillende theorieën met betrekking tot internationale politiek op een situatie van zombie-aanvallen/aanwezigheid. Voor de geïnteresseerden hieronder even de achterflap van het boek:

Het boekje is ook gevuld met grappige tekeningen en "statistieken" en het belangrijkste: de theorie blijft beter hangen omdat hij op zo'n leuke manier wordt toegepast. Echt een aanrader voor iedereen die geïnteresseerd is in de belangrijkste theorieën in de internationale politiek, maar geen zin hebben in zware lectuur!
