OPI Couture de Minnie - Magazine Cover Mouse

Magazine Cover Mouse is het tweede en laatste lakje dat ik kocht van de limited edition collectie Couture de Minnie van OPI. Het is een liquid sand lakje (het enige dat ik heb trouwens). De lak is vrij dik, maar lakt makkelijk en dekt ook goed. Ik vind de kleur heel mooi, met roze en gouden glans. Ik draag twee laagjes op de onderstaande foto's. 

Magazine Cover Mouse is the second and last polish of the LE Couture de Minnie collection that I bought. It's a liquid sand (the only one that I own). The polish is quite thick, but opaque and it's easy to apply. I like it a lot with it's pink and gold shimmer. I'm wearing two coats in the pictures.

Midi rings & a definite moust have

Vorige week kocht ik twee series midi rings of above the knuckle rings bij H&M. Ze waren elk 4,95 euro. Hieronder een paar foto's van de gouden set (ben trouwens niet zo'n fan van die met het rare vormpje). Ik kocht ook twee lakjes van de OPI Couture de Minnie collectie. Op deze foto's draag ik "a definite moust have". Die naam, zo cute! De lak dekt echt super mooi, al na een laagje als je het goed doet. Op de onderstaande foto's draag ik zelf twee laagjes. En dan nu overload aan foto's!

Last week I bought two sets of midi rings or above the knuckle rings (H&M). They were each 495 euros. I also bought two nail polishes from the OPI Couture de Minnie collection. Here i'm wearing "a definite moust have". I just love the name. The polish is a dream, opaque after one coat (if you're careful). I'm wearing two coats. Now prepare for picture overload!

Make up Monday: Nail Polish Organization

Net als vorige week woensdag, ook vandaag een kleine organisatietip. Deze keer niet voor juwelen, maar voor nagellak. De laatste tijd zag ik veel video's en foto's van nagellak die in glazen snoepbokalen bewaard wordt.

I have a small organization tip for you, just like last wednesday. Not a jewelry organization tip, but one for nail polishes. Recently I have been seeing a lot of videos and photos of nail polish stored in candy jars.

Ik vond het er op zich wel leuk uitzien, maar toch ook redelijk rommelig. Bovendien leek het me niet zo praktisch om er een bepaald lakje uit te vissen. Het idee om nagellak te organiseren in een vaas of iets dergelijks bleef me wel aanspreken. Toen herinnerde ik mij plots weer iemand die juwelen onder glazen stolpen tentoonstelde en het leek me ook wel leuk voor nagellak. Ik vond de foto niet meer terug, maar hieronder hetzelfde concept met decoratiestukken. 

I sort of liked the look of it, but I also found it quite messy. On top of that It didn't seem so practical. The idea of organizing nail polish in a vase or something similar however kept appealing to me. Then I remembered a picture of someone who displayed jewelry pieces under glass bell jars. That looked like a nice idea for nail polish as well. I couldn't find the photo anymore, but this is the same concept with decoration pieces.

Ik was dus op zoek naar mooie glazen stolpen en die vond ik bij Blokker. Ze zijn beschikbaar in een klein en groot formaat. Ik kocht twee stolpen met een afmeting van 17 cm (de grote zijn 22 cm hoog). Ze kosten 2,99 Euro per stuk. Tot nu toe bewaarde ik mijn nagellak in opbergdozen, redelijk praktisch, maar niet zo mooi.

I was on the lookout for nice glass bell jars and I found them in Blokker. They're available in a small and large size (17 versus 22 cm height). I bought two small ones and they are 2,99 Euros per piece. Until now I stored my nail polish in these plastic boxes. Practical, but not very beautiful. 

En na de herorganisatie ziet mijn nagellakcollectie er zo uit. Ik heb wel enkel mijn mooiere lakjes uitgestald, de rest zit nog wel in die lelijke opbergdozen. Ach, ze waren toch praktisch zoals ik al zei!

After my reorganization, my collection now looks like this. I only displayed my nice nail polishes though, the other ones are still in the ugly boxes. Ah well, they were practical as I said!
