Get ready with me

Zaterdag ging ik uit met een vriendin om haar verjaardag te vieren en ik nam een filmpje op van mijn "getting ready process". Zonder muziek of mijn gebabbel, dus zet maar een partytune op! En let niet op mijn bh-bandje (ik erger mij er zelf super hard aan nu ik het zie)

Saturday I went out with my friend, to celebrate her birthday. Here is my getting ready process, without music or my ramblings so put on a party tune! And I'm so irritated with my bra strap!

Tag: How much is my face worth

Ik zag deze tag voorbijkomen op een aantal beautyblogs en vond het wel een leuk idee. De bedoeling is dat je de prijs van de gezichtsproducten die je dagelijks gebruikt optelt en dan bekom je de "waarde" van je gezicht. Ik gebruik ook niet élke dag foundation of blush, soms alleen concealer en poeder (of niks). Hieronder mijn rekensommetje!

I've seen this tag on numerous beautyblogs and youtube channels and I think it's a fun idea. The concept is quite simple, just list all the prices of your daily face products and discover how much your face is "worth". Little side note, I don't use foundation and blush every single day, but most of the time this is what I use!

Best wel veel geld, gelukkig kan je de producten meer dan één keer gebruiken natuurlijk. Achja je bent een beauty-meisje of je bent het niet I suppose! Sorry voor het gebrek aan foto's, ik ben mijn oplader thuis vergeten!

That's a lot of money! Luckily you can use those products more than once (a lot more). In my defense: once a makeup girl, always a makeup girl! Sorry for the lack of pictures, I forgot my charger at home!

OPI The man with the golden gun - NOTD

I'm celebrating 50 years of 007 in my own way! With the limited edition topcoat 'The man with the golden gun'. This topcoat has flakes of 18 karat gold and makes your nails look like they're worth a million dollars! Apparently this polish is extremely limited edition, approximately 1500 are being sold here in Belgium. I had already given up hope on finding one, but today I just casually strolled past the OPI stand in Planet Parfum in Leuven and there it was! Only two boxes left, just waiting to be taken home and loved. It was a sign and after an internal struggle I bought one. You know how those mental battles go: "It's so beautiful - but it's so expensive - but it's a collector's item and it has real gold - how much are you really going to wear it - but it's sooo beautiful and you really need it, it's an investment". Well it's not really an investment, but boy it is pretty so I decided to pick it up anyway.  I paired it with Stylenomics from Essie. Don't mind the short nails, I actually just cut them because they were discolored from all the nail polish. 

Ik vier 50 jaar 007 op mijn eigen manier, met de limited edition topcoat "The man with the golden gun". Deze topcoat is extreem limited edition en heeft 18 karaat bladgoud,  million dollar nails baby!(well, kind of). Blijkbaar zijn er maar een paar duizend van dit lakje te krijgen en ik had de hoop dus al opgegeven om er eentje te bemachtigen tot ik vandaag de OPI stand in Planet Parfum voorbij liep. Daar stonden nog twee eenzame doosjes te wachten om gekocht en gekoesterd te worden. Ik voerde een kleine interne strijd in mijn hoofd à la: "hij is zo mooi - ja maar extreem duur - maar het is een collector's item en heeft écht goud - hoe vaak ga je dit nu echt dragen - maar hij is zo mooi". Uiteindelijk besloot ik toch om dit lakje mee te nemen (ik bedoel het was een teken dat er daar nog twee op mij stonden te wachten!) en op kot, 45 euro armer, lakte ik meteen mijn nagels. Ik combineerde het met Stylenomics van Essie. Let niet op mijn korte nagels, ik heb ze net geknipt omdat ze helemaal verkleurd waren (maar toch kon ik het niet laten om ze wéér te lakken).
